Terms
The agreement, in words you can check
A short document on purpose. If a term here would embarrass us to read out to a customer, it should not be here — tell us and we will take it out.
In effect from 10 September 2026
1. Who is agreeing
This agreement is between Meetowt ("we", "us") and the company that signs up ("you"). The person who signs up confirms they are allowed to agree to this on the company's behalf. Meetowt is a company in the process of being formed; its registered name and address will be written here when it is, and nothing else in this agreement changes when that happens. Until then you can reach us at info@meetowt.com.
It begins when your workspace is created and runs until either side ends it under section 8.
2. What you are buying
A private company workspace: email on your own domain, chat, video meetings, a shared calendar, files, and staff records — hours, leave, shifts, tasks and tickets — running on our server and reachable at your own address.
We add to it over time. We will not quietly take away something you are relying on: if a feature is being withdrawn, customers using it are told first and given a way out.
3. Paying
- $1 per person, per month — or $10.20 per person for a year bought up front, and free while we are in early access. One price for everything in the product; there is no tier where the useful part lives, and no separate charge for the HR side. When early access ends you get a month's notice and the price in writing before anything is billed. That is a term, not a promotion.
- Prices are as published on the pricing section or as separately agreed with you in writing.
- Invoices are payable as stated on the invoice.
- If we change the price, you are told at least 30 days before it applies to you, and you may leave under section 8 rather than accept it.
4. What you are responsible for
- What your people put into the workspace, and that you are entitled to hold it — particularly staff records.
- Keeping your administrator accounts under control, and telling us promptly if you think one has been taken.
- Not using the service to send unsolicited bulk mail, to break the law, or to attack anybody. We will act on this one.
- Owning, or being authorised to use, any domain you ask us to serve mail for. We check this before we will publish records for it.
5. What we are responsible for
- Running the service with reasonable skill and care, and keeping it available.
- Handling your data as set out in the privacy notice, which forms part of this agreement.
- Taking nightly backups and being able to restore them.
- Telling you plainly and promptly when something has gone wrong, including when the cause was us.
We do not promise the service will never be unavailable. It runs on one server; maintenance happens, and so do faults. Where we know about planned work in advance, you will know too.
6. Your data stays yours
Everything you put in remains yours. We claim no ownership of it and no right to use it beyond running the service for you.
The promise on the front page is a term of this agreement:
- Ask, and we give you a copy of everything in ordinary formats another system can read.
- Within 30 days.
- At no charge — not as a leaving fee, not as a condition of staying.
We will not hold your data hostage over a billing dispute.
7. Limits
Said honestly rather than in capitals: we are a small operation, and what you can recover from us if something goes badly wrong is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before it happened. We do not accept liability for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost business.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
This is the clause most likely to matter to a larger customer. If it does not work for you, raise it before signing up and we will discuss it rather than pretend it is not there.
8. Ending it
- You, at any time, for any reason, with notice in writing. You are not locked in and there is no exit fee.
- Us, with at least 30 days' written notice — or immediately if the service is being used for something illegal or abusive under section 4, or if invoices go unpaid after we have asked twice.
When it ends, section 6 applies first: you get your copy before anything is removed. We remove the workspace from the live service after you have confirmed the copy is complete.
9. Changing these terms
We may update this document. If a change materially affects you, we tell you at least 30 days beforehand and you may end the agreement instead of accepting it. Silent changes to material terms are not something we will do.
10. Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the courts of Egypt have jurisdiction — except where you are a business established elsewhere and we have agreed otherwise with you in writing.
11. Notices
Anything required to be in writing may be sent to info@meetowt.com, and to you at the address on your account.
