Security
Change your password, add a passkey, turn on two-step sign-in and see every device you are signed in on — without leaving Meetowt. And underneath, each company kept apart from every other.
One screen, called Security, inside Meetowt.
Every browser and device you are signed in on. Sign one out, or every other one at once — it is refused within about a minute.
Add an authenticator app or a passkey, so a password alone is not enough. Turning it off asks for your password again.
New Sign in with your fingerprint, your face or your device’s PIN instead of typing a password. Add one on the Security screen — the sign-in page asks for your password again first — and a passkey made for one company cannot sign anybody in at another. Where your company requires two-step sign-in, a passkey counts as the second step.
It is changed on the sign-in page and you come straight back. It never passes through the rest of the app.
Ten wrong passwords in a row and the account waits before it lets anybody try again.
Every workspace is separated at the database, so one company’s people cannot reach another’s mail, chat or files — and our own checks try to break that on every run.
New An administrator can require it for the whole company: anybody without an authenticator app or a passkey sets up an app at their next sign-in, and nobody can remove their last one.
Switch somebody off once and they lose mail, chat, files and meetings together. Their mailbox stays with the company.
Mail leaving us is signed, and encrypted on the way whenever the receiving server offers it.
Nobody at Meetowt reads your content as a matter of routine, and none of it is used to train anything.
New Files are stored encrypted, so the storage company cannot read them. Each file is locked with a key of its own before it leaves our server, and opened only when somebody who may see it asks.
New Spam, a scam or anything unlawful sent from a Meetowt address: write to help@meetowt.com. A person reads it, and an account that misuses Meetowt is stopped.
New When one of our own tools opens your company’s data or takes a copy of it, it writes down when, who at Meetowt and why first, in a list your administrators can read in the app — and they are told. It is a promise our tools keep, not a lock on the server: work done by hand outside them does not appear unless the person writes the line themselves.
On one server in Europe, rented from an established European hosting company. It does not leave the European Union in the ordinary course of running the service — except the notification email Google delivers for us, and the optional writing help, which sends the text somebody asks it about to Anthropic once your company switches it on.
Every night it is backed up, encrypted, and held somewhere else. The narrow cases in which a person here can reach your content at all are set out in our privacy notice.
Mail, chat, meetings, calendar, documents, files and HR for everybody at your company — a dollar a person a month, and free while we are in early access.
