Terms
Terms for personal profiles
For anybody aged 16 or older who keeps a free profile on Meetowt with their own email address. Short, because the rules are simple. The terms for companies that buy a workspace are a separate document.
In effect from 26 September 2026
Before the rest: we wrote this ourselves and it has not been through a lawyer yet. If a term below is wrong, or unfair, or does not match what the rest of this site told you, write to info@meetowt.com and we will change it rather than lean on it.
1. Who these are for
These terms are between you and Meetowt ("we", "us") when you make a personal profile at my.meetowt.com with your own email address. Meetowt is a company in the process of being formed; its registered name and address will be written here when it is, and nothing else in these terms changes when that happens.
You must be 16 or older to have a personal profile, and you confirm that you are when you make one.
A personal profile is not part of any company's workspace, even if you also work at a company that uses Meetowt, and no company can open it inside Meetowt. A company sees only what you send it when you apply for a job there (section 6), and what anybody can see on your page once you switch it on (section 3). Linking your work account (section 5) lets your page say what that company's own records say about you — never the other way round.
2. What you get, and what it costs
- A profile: what you do, the roles and companies you list, skills, languages, links, and a photo if you want one.
- A page of your own at meetowt.com/in/ followed by an address you choose — off until you switch it on.
- The open roles and news that companies on Meetowt choose to publish, and applying to their roles with your profile in one press, with a CV if you like.
- A list of what you applied for, and where each application stands.
A personal profile is free. If we ever offer paid extras, they will be optional, and described before you pay for anything.
3. What is public, and what is not
Nothing is public until you switch your page on. Once it is on, anybody with its address can read it, and search engines and AI services may find it, read it and list it. Meetowt itself has no directory and no search of personal pages, but a page that is on is public.
The page carries your name and what you chose to write; your photo only if you chose to show it; and, only if you linked a work account and chose to show them, the line saying where you work and since when, and your colleagues' public endorsements. Your email address, your age and your account are never on it.
You can switch it off at any time. The page is deleted at once, not hidden — though a search engine may take a while to forget it.
4. What you write
You are responsible for what you write on your profile, including the roles and companies you list: we do not check them, and your page says so. Do not write anything about another person that you have no right to publish, and nothing that breaks the law. We may take a page down, or close an account, that breaks these terms or the law.
5. Linking a work account
If you also work at a company that uses Meetowt, you may link your profile to your work account there. It takes a confirmation from inside that company's own Meetowt, signed in as you, so nobody can claim a job they do not have. Once linked, your page may say you work there and since when, and show colleagues' public endorsements — each only if you choose. You can unlink at any time, and leaving the company unlinks you. The company does not read your personal profile or your other applications.
6. Applying for jobs
When you apply, the company you apply to receives your name, your email address, your profile as it was when you pressed Apply, a note if you write one, and your CV if you attach one. What it does with your application is the company's decision; we keep it for them, for twelve months from the day you sent it, and then delete it with its CV.
While an application is open you can withdraw it from My applications. Your details, your profile and your CV are then removed from that company's Meetowt, and it keeps only a note that an application for that role was withdrawn, and when. You cannot apply for the same role again until a year after you first applied. A copy somebody at the company already saved is outside Meetowt, and outside our reach.
7. Deleting everything
Delete my account, at the foot of your profile at my.meetowt.com, deletes your profile, your page, your sign-in and every application you sent from it — at every company, CVs included — straight away. Copies inside our backups age out on their ordinary cycle, within about three weeks. Nothing is kept for later, and nobody can sign in with the account afterwards.
If you cannot get into your account, write to help@meetowt.com from the address it uses.
8. Your data
What we keep, why, and for how long is in the privacy notice, which is part of these terms.
9. Changes to these terms
The date at the top is the version you are reading. If we change something that matters, we tell people who have a personal profile directly, rather than leaving them to notice a new date.
10. Writing to us
info@meetowt.com, or help@meetowt.com for anything about your account. A person reads both.
